# PRIVACY, CONTENT & CHILD SAFETY POLICY

* The app collects the user's location.

* The user's location is not shown to any other user and is not shared with any other entity or third party, except where required by law or as described in this policy.

* The user's location is collected solely for technical purposes, such as providing accurate Panchang information, sunrise/sunset timings, and other location-based features.

* Images and videos, if submitted by the user, are stored securely on the app server only to provide the requested functionality and allow the user to access their own content.

* We allow third-party advertising companies to serve ads and collect certain anonymous information when you use our app. These companies may use anonymous information such as your Google Advertising ID, device type, operating system version, browsing activity, approximate location, and other technical information to provide relevant advertisements.

## Child Safety Standards (CSAE)

Maithili Panchang is an informational Hindu calendar and Panchang application. The app does **not** provide chat, messaging, social networking, live streaming, or user-generated public content.

We have a **zero-tolerance policy** against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).

The following are strictly prohibited:

* Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
* Any sexual content involving minors.
* Grooming, exploitation, or abuse of children.
* Promotion, solicitation, sharing, or distribution of CSAE-related content.
* Any activity that endangers the safety or well-being of children.

If we become aware of any content or activity that violates these standards, we will take appropriate action, including removing the content, restricting or terminating access to the app where applicable, and cooperating with law enforcement authorities as required by applicable laws.
