This Privacy Policy describes how Axolotl Chat Connect (hereinafter, the "Application") handles user information. The Application is designed to provide P2P chat and online radio streaming services.

1. Data Collection and Use
The Application does not collect, store, or share personally identifiable information (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or GPS location) on its own servers.

P2P Chat: The chat functionality uses PeerJS (WebRTC) technology. Text messages are transmitted directly from one device to another (peer-to-peer) without passing through a centralized database or being stored by us. Messages are ephemeral and disappear when the application is closed.

Identifiers: The Application generates a temporary, random numeric code (ID) to facilitate connection. This ID is not linked to the user's real identity.

2. Device Permissions
The Application requires internet access to function:

Network (INTERNET) Access: Required to establish the P2P connection with other users and to load radio broadcasts (streaming) from external servers.

3. Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services for specific functionalities. These services may collect your IP address as a standard part of your internet connection:

PeerJS: Used for signaling (establishing the initial "handshake" between devices). You can view their policy at peerjs.com.

Radio Stations: When playing a station, your device connects directly to that station's public servers (e.g., streams from global or Japanese stations). These stations operate under their own privacy policies.

4. Security
Since we do not store user data on servers, there is no risk of database theft on our part. Peer-to-peer (P2P) communication offers an inherent level of privacy by not intermediary messages, although we recommend against sending financial or sensitive information through any chat without verified end-to-end encryption.

5. Children's Privacy
Our application is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
