1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the Class Monitoring Application, developed for instructional and academic monitoring purposes under the supervision of Dr. Glenn E. Redecilla, collects, uses, stores, and protects information.

This system is designed solely for academic, instructional, and monitoring purposes within the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA).

The application may collect and process the following academic information:
A. Student Information
-Full Name
-PIL Number / Student ID
-Section
-Course
-Term
-Final Grade
-Date Posted
-Submission Records
-Output Titles
-Profile Photo (if provided by student)

B. System Usage Data
-Search queries (PIL or ID input)
-Date and time of grade generation
-Browser session data (non-personal)

The application does NOT collect:
-Passwords
-Financial information
-Biometric data
-Personal contact details (unless voluntarily provided in outputs)

3. Source of Data
-All data displayed in the system are retrieved from:
-Google Sheets databases
-Google Apps Script backend
-Official academic records uploaded by authorized personnel
-Only authorized academic administrators may update records.

4. Purpose of Data Processing
Data is processed strictly for:
-Grade viewing
-Academic performance monitoring
-Output tracking
-Class announcements
-Academic documentation
-Portfolio display
-Academic transparency within enrolled classes
No data is used for marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Data Protection Measures
The application uses:
-Secure HTTPS Google Apps Script endpoints
-Controlled Google Sheets access permissions
-No local storage of academic records
-No third-party commercial analytics

Access to academic records is limited to:
-The concerned student (via PIL search)
-Authorized faculty
-Academic administrators

6. Confidentiality of Grades
Grades are confidential academic records.
Students are responsible for:
-Protecting their PIL Number
-Not sharing screenshots irresponsibly
-Not accessing records of other students

Unauthorized access or misuse may result in disciplinary action.

7. Photo & Media Usage
Photos and videos displayed in:
-Announcements
-Photo Album
-Output Monitoring
Are used for academic documentation purposes only.

Students appearing in photos are assumed to have participated voluntarily in official academic activities.

8. Data Retention
Academic records may be retained:
-For the duration of the academic term
-As required by university academic policies
Records may be archived or removed after the retention period.

9. Third-Party Services
This application uses:
-Google Sheets
-Google Apps Script
-YouTube (for embedded videos)
-html2canvas (PNG generation)
These services operate under their respective privacy policies.

10. Student Rights (RA 10173 – Data Privacy Act)
Students have the right to:
-Request correction of inaccurate data
-Request clarification of posted grades
-Report privacy concerns
-Request removal of non-required personal content
Requests must be directed to the course instructor or academic office.

-Modify, manipulate, or exploit system vulnerabilities
-Share confidential academic data publicly
-Misrepresent screenshots or grade reports

Violations may result in:
-Academic disciplinary action
-System access restriction
-Reporting to university authorities

4. Grade Viewing Disclaimer
Grades displayed are:

-Based on official entries in the academic Google Sheets database
-Subject to correction if clerical errors are found
-Not official transcripts
For official transcript requests, students must follow university procedures.

5. Output Monitoring System

The Output Monitoring section:
-Displays submitted academic work
-Tracks submission dates
-Provides links to uploaded files

The system does not guarantee file permanence if:
-External links are removed
-Google Drive permissions change

6. Photo and Media Content
Media content displayed is:
-Academic in nature
-Related to university activities
-Intended for documentation purposes
Users may not download or redistribute media for non-academic use.

7. System Availability
The application:
-Depends on Google services
-May experience downtime
-Is not guaranteed 24/7 availability
The university is not liable for temporary service interruptions.

8. PNG Grade Generation
Generated PNG grade reports:
-Are unofficial copies
-Are for personal academic reference
-Must not be altered or falsified
Tampering with grade images constitutes academic dishonesty.

9. Limitation of Liability
The system administrators are not liable for:
-Incorrect data entered by third parties
-Misuse of downloaded content
-Technical interruptions
-Device incompatibility issues

10. Modifications to System
The administrator reserves the right to:
Update features
-Modify database structure
-Add authentication features
-Restrict access when necessary

11. Governing Law

This system operates under:
-Republic Act 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012)
-CBSUA Academic Policies
-Philippine educational regulations
