SpendWise ("we", "us", or "our") is a simple offline daily expense tracker that helps users quickly log their spending and understand where their money goes.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data in the SpendWise app.
1. Information We Collect
Local Data Only
All your expenses, amounts, categories, notes, and spending summaries are stored entirely on your device using local storage.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your financial or personal data to our servers or any third party.
No Account Required
SpendWise does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as name, email address, or phone number.
2. Third-Party Services – Google AdMob
The app displays advertisements through Google AdMob.
When ads are shown, Google may automatically collect certain anonymous information, including:
Device identifiers
IP address
App interactions (such as taps and screen views)
Approximate location (if enabled)
Diagnostics and crash logs
This data is used by Google for serving personalized advertisements and improving their services.

3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any of your locally stored expense data with anyone.
The only external data processing is through Google AdMob as described above.
4. Data Security
Your expense records remain completely on your device. The app does not send any personal or financial data over the internet (except for standard ad-related data handled by Google AdMob).
5. Your Rights
You can delete all your expense data at any time by clearing the app’s data or cache from your device settings.
Since we do not store any data on servers, we cannot retrieve or delete your data on your behalf.
6. Children’s Privacy
SpendWise is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app, and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
