This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use our Android app and how we handle it.

1. Summary
We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number inside the app.
We do not run our own servers to store personal profiles. Tips are loaded from a public Firebase Realtime Database feed.
Google AdMob may show ads (banners, interstitials, app-open, and optional rewarded ads) and may collect device and usage data as described below.
Google Play processes all in-app purchases and subscriptions; we never receive your payment card details.
A small amount of data is stored only on your device (e.g. whether you completed onboarding, which premium sections you unlocked).

Advertising ID (on Android 13+, the app declares the AD_ID permission)
IP address (typically processed by ad networks)
Device type, OS version, language, and general location (derived from IP)
Ad interactions (impressions, clicks)
Diagnostic data related to ad delivery
We do not receive this data directly for our own analytics. AdMob’s use of data is governed by Google’s policies:

Limit ad personalization: On your Android device, go to Settings → Google → Ads and enable Opt out of Ads Personalization (wording may vary by device/OS version).

Rewarded ads (“Support free tips”) are opt-in only — they are shown only when you choose that action.

3. Information we do NOT collect
We do not knowingly collect, sell, or rent:

Your name, email, phone number, or postal address (unless you voluntarily contact us by email)
Contacts, photos, files, calendar, microphone, or camera
Precise GPS location
Messages or browsing history outside what ad partners may process when serving ads
We do not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or other first-party analytics SDKs in this app.

When you tap Telegram, WhatsApp, Share, or Rate us, you leave our app and are subject to that platform’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not control those services.

6. Payments and subscriptions
Premium VIP/Pro content is sold through Google Play (weekly/monthly subscriptions and/or one-time unlocks, depending on the product). Google processes payment and billing; we only receive confirmation needed to unlock content (e.g. purchase token / subscription status via Play Billing).

Manage or cancel subscriptions: Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

7. Children
This app is intended for users 18 years of age and older. It references sports betting markets and gambling-related content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Responsible gaming
World Cup Tips is for information only. We do not accept wagers and are not affiliated with any bookmaker. If gambling is affecting you, consider support services such as BeGambleAware, GamCare, or Gambling Therapy.

9. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR applies, we process data on these bases:

Contract / legitimate interest — deliver tips, verify purchases, and keep the app working
Consent — where required for personalized advertising (you can withdraw via device ad settings)

10. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object to certain processing (including personalized ads via device settings).

Because we do not operate user accounts, most “personal” data exists only on your device or with Google/AdMob. To exercise rights regarding data held by Google, use Google’s privacy tools. To remove locally stored app data, uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings.

11. Data retention

12. International transfers

We use industry-standard transport security (TLS) for network requests. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be noted in the app or on the page where this policy is hosted.

Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
