Panchang 2026 Hindi Calendar, also previously listed as Panchang 2027 Hindi Calendar / Sanatan Panchang, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, accessed, used, shared, and protected when you use the application, including its Panchang, devotional content, and group chat features.
The app includes Hindu calendar information for 2026 and 2027.
1. Information We Collect
The Panchang and calendar features do not require users to submit a name or profile photo.
To participate in chat, users may be asked to provide:
- A name or display name
- A profile photo
- Messages and other content they choose to share
Chat services may also process profile identifiers, message timestamps, and technical information necessary to operate the chat feature.
The app and its service providers may process device information, operating system information, IP address, advertising identifiers, app interactions, connection information, and crash or performance information.
We do not ask users to provide government identification, postal addresses, or payment information for the features described in this policy.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you include in your request.
2. Group Chat and Profile Information
The app includes a group chat feature that allows users to communicate with other participants.
Your display name, profile photo, and messages may be visible to other users who can access the relevant chat or profile. Group chat messages should not be treated as private communications.
Information submitted to chat may be transmitted to and stored by the services operating the chat feature.
Other participants may copy, save, screenshot, or share content you post. Removing content from the app cannot remove copies independently saved by other users.
Please avoid sharing passwords, financial information, identification documents, private contact details, or other sensitive information in chat. Do not upload another person's photo or personal information without permission.
3. Photos, Camera, and Media Access
The app may request access to a photo picker, selected media, or the camera when you choose to add or change a profile photo, where supported.
A photo selected for your chat profile may be uploaded to the chat service and displayed to other users.
Photo or camera access is used for the functionality you select. It does not mean that all photos on your device are uploaded.
You can manage camera and media permissions through your device settings. Denying access may prevent you from adding a photo through the relevant option.
4. Location Information
The app may request device location permission for location-dependent functionality.
The current Panchang setup uses a default location for its timings. Granting location permission does not, by itself, mean that the displayed Panchang automatically uses your current location.
Where a device-location feature is enabled and used, location coordinates may be transmitted to the relevant service to provide location-dependent information.
Location is not required to participate in group chat or play devotional audio. The app does not require continuous background location tracking for audio playback.
You can revoke location permission through your device settings.
5. Internet Access
Internet access is required for features including:
- Loading Panchang data
- Loading online content and updates
- Sending and receiving chat messages
- Uploading and displaying profile photos
- Streaming Bhajans, Mantras, and devotional audio
- Loading images and stickers
- Displaying advertisements
Online service providers may receive standard request information, including IP address and device or browser information.
6. Bhajan, Mantra, and Audio Playback
The app includes devotional audio such as Bhajans, Mantras, and spiritual music.
Audio may be streamed from online hosting services.
The app may use an Android Foreground Media Playback Service to continue playback when the user changes screens or when background playback is supported. A media playback notification may be displayed.
This service is used for audio playback functionality.
7. Notifications
The app may request notification permission.
Notifications may be used for:
- Media playback controls
- Chat activity, where enabled
- App updates
- Panchang and devotional information, where enabled
Users can manage or disable notifications through device settings.
8. Advertising and Third-Party Services
The app may display advertisements through services such as Google AdMob.
Advertising providers may process device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, and app interaction information to deliver, measure, secure, and improve advertisements, depending on the provider and user settings.
Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
We do not sell users' personal information.
9. App Platform, APIs, and Hosting Providers
The app uses AppCreator24 for app functionality, including its integrated chat feature, and may use other providers for advertising, Panchang data, hosting, images, and audio.
The current Panchang service uses a Cloudflare Worker to request and cache data from Divine API.
Depending on the feature used, providers may process:
- Dates and location parameters for Panchang requests
- Display names, profile photos, messages, and chat identifiers
- Technical information needed to deliver content
- Advertising, diagnostic, and security information
Their handling of information is also subject to their applicable privacy policies and service terms.
10. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to:
- Provide Panchang and Hindu calendar information
- Display Vrat, festival, and religious content
- Display Rahukaal and other timing information
- Provide Vrat Katha and Puja Vidhi
- Stream devotional audio
- Display stickers and images
- Create and display chat profiles
- Deliver group chat messages
- Address complaints and misuse
- Display advertisements
- Maintain performance and fix errors
- Respond to support and privacy requests
11. Data Sharing and Visibility
We do not sell, rent, or trade users' personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the app, including chat, advertising, API, hosting, and technical providers.
Names, profile photos, and messages shared through chat may be visible to other users of the relevant feature.
Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or threats to users.
12. Local Storage
The app may store information locally on your device, including:
- Cached Panchang data
- Theme preferences
- Daily visit records
- Digital diya or daily activity records
- Rating reminder preferences
- Other settings needed for app functionality
Local app information can generally be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
Clearing app storage or uninstalling does not automatically delete chat profiles, photos, or messages stored on remote servers.
13. Data Retention and Deletion
Local information is retained until it is replaced, cleared, or removed.
Chat profile information, uploaded photos, and messages may remain on the chat service after you close or uninstall the app. Their retention and removal depend on the service's storage practices and available deletion controls.

Include your chat display name and enough information to identify the relevant profile or content. Do not send passwords or government identification documents.
We may request limited additional information to verify that a request relates to your own data. We will review the request and coordinate with the relevant service provider where necessary.
Some information may need to be retained for legitimate legal, security, or abuse-prevention purposes. Copies saved independently by other users may remain outside our control.
Information independently collected by advertising and other third-party services is subject to those providers' retention and deletion practices.
14. Chat Safety and User Content
Users are responsible for the content they share.
Do not post abusive, threatening, unlawful, misleading, or privacy-invasive content, or content that infringes another person's rights.
To report inappropriate content or privacy concerns, use the available reporting controls, where provided, or contact the support email below. Include sufficient details to identify the content.
We may review reported content and work with the chat service provider to address misuse. This does not mean that every message is continuously monitored.
15. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through the app.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Avoid sharing sensitive personal information in group chat.
16. Children's Privacy
The app provides general religious and informational content.
Chat allows users to submit names, photos, and messages. Children should not share personal information or photos without appropriate parental or guardian guidance.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information that should be removed, contact us so that we can investigate and coordinate appropriate action with the relevant provider.
17. Religious Information
The app provides Panchang, Hindu calendar, Vrat, festival, Puja, Bhajan, Mantra, and devotional content.
We do not require users to declare their religion or religious beliefs.
Users may voluntarily disclose religious beliefs in chat. Such content may be visible to other participants, so users should consider what they choose to share.
18. Sharing Outside the App
Users may choose to share Panchang text, quotes, or generated images through WhatsApp or other applications.
When you share content externally, the receiving application handles that information according to its own policies.
19. Panchang Accuracy Disclaimer
Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, sunrise, sunset, Rahukaal, Muhurat, and festival information may vary by location, time zone, tradition, and calculation method.
Some timings use a default location or approximate calculations and may not match the user's current location.
For important ceremonies, marriage, Griha Pravesh, or other significant activities, confirm timings with a local Panchang or qualified priest.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when app features, permissions, service providers, or data practices change.
Updates will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
